Japan

Two weeks ago Japan suffered its most devastating earthquake yet, measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale the earthquake was soon followed by a tsunami, causing problems at the Fukushima nuclear plant. These disasters have caused both physical and environmental damage to the country. So far over 12,000 people are estimated dead, and some 13,800 are still missing.

Accommodations in the Pembury Hospital.

The cost of the 65,000 sq/m Pembury Hospital for the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust has cost £230 million to build. The old Pembury Hospital had its last working day on Friday 22nd January. The new Pembury Hospital will provide all inpatient accommodation in single en-suite bedrooms; making it the first NHS acute hospital of its kind in the UK. The hospital design incorporates the concept of hospitals within a hospital.

After a life of highs and lows and numerous stunning films Elizabeth Taylor died aged 79 on Wednesday 23rd of March, 2011. She had suffered for a while from health problems: “I nearly died quite a few times. Nearly dying was my speciality. That has to count for something doesn’t it” During her career she achieved 5 nominations and was awarded 2 Oscars. She had married 8 times to 7 different husbands and had 4 children, who were with her when she died in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angles.
